A Switzerland town was probably surprised when something delicious started falling from the sky, no it was not the snow. Yes! this time that was chocolate snow.
On August 11, at Lindt & Spruengli factory in Olten, there occurs a malfunction which led to a snow flurry. The company said that the ventilation system of the factory broke down. So because of this, there was light dust of cocoa powder all around in the sky.
This technical malfunction in the ventilators caused the chocolate snow that quickly spread to nearby areas because of the winds.
However, the company made it clear that the particles will not damage people or the environment. It also confirms that they will bear all the cleaning costs. This is because one car was covered in chocolate powder during this chocolate snowfall.
Meantime, Lindt & Spruengli address the problem quickly and work is back on in the factory. But it seems like people liked this ‘chocolate from the sky.’
