Donald Trump Gets Nominated For Nobel Peace Prize. It’s 2020 guys!

On Wednesday, the United States President Donald Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize, as per the FOX News report. A Norwegian lawmaker, Christian Tybring-Gjedde has submitted his nomination. The U.S. President Trump gets the nomination for brokering the “historic peace agreement” between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

But this is not the first time, as Tybring-Gjedde also submitted a nomination for Trump in 2018, as the US president’s summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Hmm! your guess is right, Trump didn’t win the award.

Notably, Christian Tybring-Gjedde is well-known for his critical views on Islam. And he also supports anti-immigration. Also, he is the one who once comparing hijabs to Ku Klux Klan and Nazi outfits.

Nobel Peace Prize Nominees

However, around 300 individuals and organizations have been nominated for the 2020 award , which is the most ever. Although, the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize award will be announced in October this year.

And you know, the award nominations can be submitt by any person who fits the criteria. Meanwhile, the Nobel organization doesn’t formally announce the list of nominees until 50 years, the Norwegian Nobel Committee decides on the winner.
