New Delhi: Today, The Minister of Railways and Minister of Commerce and Industry in the Government of India, Piyush Goyal addresses the launch of the United Nations-Industrial Development Report 2020.
Piyush Goyal at round table 4.0 making industry work said that self-reliant India needs challenges and strategies to push to 5 trillion economies and take India to a $1 trillion manufacturing economy. He also welcomed industrial development before 2020 for digitalized India.
Piyush goyal said that earlier industry guided the technology but now in modern times Technologies like artificial intelligence, data analytics, IoT, is guiding in deciding the fate of industrial development. Autonomous vehicles coming into play, Nanotechnology used for digital 5G, robotics, quantum computing are changing human behavior and are also determining the fabric of today’s society.
“Future power will be in leveraging on technological development for sustainable growth taking India into faster industrial development, quality production, and manufacturing in India and helping us increase our global presence like never before. The more and more technological machine will help India evolve and adopt technologies and serving the rest of the world in a better way,” he added.
