Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has confirmed on Wednesday that its latest first gaming laptop the Redmi G Gaming laptop in China on August 14. Interestingly, in May this year, the company has already announced its first laptop RedmiBook 16, based on Ryzen 4000 series processors.
According to the company, the Redmi G Gaming laptop will be run on the latest Intel Core i5-10200H or i5-10300H 10th Gen. processor, and it will give the best performance and proper heat dissipation.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed any of the hardware specifications for the Redmi G gaming laptop. The Weibo post simply says (translated from Chinese to English) that the laptop will “offer the best performance and proper heat dissipation.”
A couple of teaser images uploaded to Weibo gives a brief look at the Redmi G gaming laptop. As per these images, it seems like the laptop will feature a 15-inch display with minimal bezels all-around (except the bottom). And of course, it has a ‘Redmi G’ logo.
The main catch is the body of this gaming laptop appears to have a plastic material, It may also be combined with USB-A port and 3.5mm headphone jack as visible in images.
One of the interesting parts is that the Redmi G gaming laptop announcement comes only a day after Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 10 Ultra, Redmi K30 Ultra, and the see-through Mi TV Lux, on the occasion of company’s 10th Anniversary event in China.
The teaser image released by Weibo also shows a full-sized keyboard with a unique design and large trackpad. If you will see the images closely, will find that there are patterns on the outside.
