Today, another Twitter trend is made it’s way, and this time is all about Sudha Murthy. Yes! we are talking about the chairperson of the Infosys Foundation and the wife of the co-founder of Infosys, N. R. Narayana Murthy. This is because of a viral picture, in which Sudha Murthy is selling vegetables at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Jayanagar, Bangalore.
But according to several fact check reports, she wasn’t selling vegetables but maintaining storage for her Seva program.
Actually, she has showcased on multiple occasions that money hasn’t changed her values at all. Sudha Ji, whose wealth is around Rs. 2,480 crores, is having a great influence on the Sikh philosophy of ‘Kar Seva’.

According to an article published in Bangalore Mirror in October 2013, “three days in a year, during the Raghavendra Aradhanotsavam celebration, she wakes up at 4 A.M. and heads to the Raghavendra Swamy temple to offer ‘Seva’. In that report, Sudha Ji told BM;
“Giving money is easy because it is a simple transaction. But doing physical Seva is not.”
Sudha Murthy said in 2013, “Giving money is easy, But doing physical Seva is not.” Influenced by the Sikh philosophy of ‘Kar Seva’, she can often be seen “taking care” of devotees’ footwear at a Gurudwara in Delhi, too.” #WaheguruJi@mssirsa @amritabhinder @TajinderBagga @nsbchd https://t.co/rilPjWaM7O

For all these reasons, we respect Sudha Murthy’s inspirational way of not letting her social status and money deplete her sense of moral values and humanity.
