The Batman Shooting Paused As Robert Pattinson Tests Positive For COVID-19: Reports

Twilight famed actor Robert Pattinson has been tested positive for the coronavirus, as per several media reports. Notably, the actor was filming for Matt Reeves’ The Batman in London.  But after this, The Batman production halted the shoot immediately and released an official statement.

However, the release by Warner Bros. didn’t have any specific names from the production team. The shoot for The Batman began in London (UK) three days back after pausing for nearly 6 months. But unfortunately, the UK production at Warner Bros. Leavesden has stopped again amid the COVID-19 cases.

In its press note in the morning, Warner Bros. tells about the situation as:

“A member of The Batman production has tested positive for COVID-19 and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily pausing.”

A few weeks back, Hollywood star Dwayne Johnsson confirms that he, along with his wife and two daughters had contracted the virus. But the good news is, now they all are healthy and safe.

This time Robert Pattinson tightening the cape, with Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes) at the helm for the new Batman movie for a 2021 release.
