Warner Bros has finally released the ‘official main trailer’ for the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984. Starring Gal Gadot and directed by Patty Jenkins, movie’s trailer teaser Wonder Woman’s shiny new suit.
This main trailer releases at the ongoing DC FanDome event. FYI, teasers for Matt Reeves’ Batman film and Zack Snyder’s Justice League are also up guys!
The trailer shows off a huge opening action scene set in Themyscira and provides a clearer look at Kristen Wiig’s villainous Cheetah.
In it, Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince returns to us in the 1980s. But there’s an undercurrent of doom. Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) is seen and heard saying he can make everyone’s dreams come true. Now for Diana that seems to mean a reunion with the love of her life, Steve Trevor.
But this also signals the emergence of Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig), who covets everything Diana has. Meantime, the blockbuster was scheduled to hit theaters on June 5 of this year.
But Covid-19 pandemic scrapped that plan, and eventually nixed its rescheduled date of August 14, too. Warner Bros. is now hoping to release Wonder Woman 1984 on October 2, 2020.
However, this trailer has ‘lasso-ed’ the excitement out of Netizens, as nobody can keep calm:
