Zomato-Swara Controversy: Today, Zomato starts taking over all the trends on social media. This is because of a Tweet from a Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker. In her tweet, Swara request Zomato to take down its Ads from Republic Bharat TV. Since Swara alleged Republic Bharat TV for spreading communal hatred.
Swara quotes a video clip of Republic Channel. In that tweet the actress wrote;
“Hey @zomato I’m your regular customer, do u plan to #DefundTheHate & pull your ads from hate espousing channels like Republic Bharat? I’m not okay with my money even indirectly funding this kind of communal bigoted hate! Pls, let your consumers know.”

However, Swara Bhasker is well-known for raising her voice against the establishment and all. And she also gets the limelight for flicking off the legion of trolls who attack her on Twitter.

But this time, the people start raising this issue when Zomato lands into the conversation. As Zomato replies to Swara’s Tweet and wrote;
